We recently attended a luncheon event at the Siegfried Werft for a large group (30+ people). It was very clear that the management is unable to handle such a large group. The wait for food was approximately 1 1/2 hours past the agreed upon time, even though the food was to be served family style and was ordered in advance. The amount of food served was inconsistent among the tables. At our table, I managed to get one piece of cauliflower and one piece of broccoli from the vegetable dish. There was no refill, at least at our table. Both meat and fish were served. I heard that the meat was average, but only one of the three types of fish I had was properly cooked, most being overdone and dry....
We ate here a total of three times over two days. We kept coming back because the food was so good. (We were also staying here) They are open for breakfast (if you stay there it's included) lunch and dinner. Every meal we had there was amazing, the staff was very friendly but spoke very limited english. By the way we learned that Frustuck is german for tasty little rolls.
Very nicely situated by the harbour of Eckernförde. Cosy place inside. The food is OK but nothing special thougt some of the fish was nice. The fish is served with heavy garnish.The wine selection is awful. They do not have a wine Card but just a few wines mentioned by the waiter by grape.
If you are lucky enough to get a table at any window, you can enjoy the best views on the harbour and ships. The food is good, but no culinary highlight. Book a table now
we were very happy with the Quality and choice of dishes. Prices are also moderate.The sitting in the habour is also very nice.
Excellent Service, good Food, nice Place in Town. Especially recommended for couples and Family Parties !
