a little hard to find in a remote part of oberkirch, at the rande of the weinberge and next to the old home of the family of Blickburg. a small and intimate place that belongs to the heart of the hearts, offers refined local dishes... with seasonal variations. there is also a very nice garden with tables in the warmer part of the year and a romantic vaulted cellar under the manor house ready for a party when they bring a larger quantity. the natives love to dwell on something; try to meet a conversation and see where it leads. the famous German writer hjc von grimmelshausen worked in the 1660s in the building and ran a restaurant with the same name silver star silver star in this building. h...
Das Restaurant bietet eine zeitgemäße badische Küche auch mit internationalen Zutaten, die nicht ausschließlich aus der Region stammen, aber in die regionale Küche wunderbar eingebunden werden.Das Ambiente im stilvollen Gastraum lebt von den rustikalen Decken und Wänden mit Balken, Holztäfelung und Bildern der früheren Schlossbewohner und verströmt eine renaissance-geladene Gemütlichkeit.Von Freunden wurde mir empfohlen vorher zu reservieren.Als wir dort waren (Sonntag nach Weihnachten), war das aber nicht wirklich nötig.Der Service war nett.Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angemessen.
Unfortunately, this restaurant did everything wrong with A Z! Waiting times (after 20 minutes only the beverage order, 2 hours later served food, salad there was no more... , to take the rest of the food there was only aluminum foil, the battery was empty at the card reader, ... With these expensive prices you can definitely expect a lot more!!! We will not visit this place again!
Fantastic food! In summer, the magnificent beer garden and in winter the rustic, cozy rooms. One can imagine how Grimmelshausen felt here. We are often here to eat or celebrate family festivals and were always satisfied. If you really want to eat well in Oberkirch in a beautiful atmosphere, you should definitely come here.

Essen war sehr gut, aber man sollte viel Zeit mitbringen und nicht unbedingt hungrige Kinder dabei haben . Es hat über 1h gedauert bis das Essen auf dem Tisch stand.

The food was good as always, but there were only two “satisfied” dishes for children and there were no salads. Service very friendly!
