Have to admit the food was good . It made up for the lack of interest put forth by our server (and I use that term lightly . Pulled a disappearing act , at least 3 times , while we tried to order and...it wasn't that busy . Probably added a half hour to our wait . When the food came , 3 other waitresses brought it out and she wasn't one . One order my wife's was barely warm . You take it from there . Others came in after us and got their orders first . Fastest part of the meal was , how quick she brought the debt machine . Watched the other waitress , who was there bring a huge pile of mints to the table , which although it wasn't that important , she had been to their table multiple times ....
We had wings fries pick up last night. Linda made sure the wings were just how we like them and even checked before Joe left with our order. She knew that we like them extra crispy with the sauce on the side. The fries...were nice and crispy, just the way I like them. The food is great and we can can't wait for Simcoe Arms to open again as we love the atmosphere especially when Linda is there. We have tried many other restaurants and this is definitely one of our favourites.
The food seems to have gone downhill drastically. I ordered the meatloaf which was dry and tasteless with a glutenous gravy with even less flavour. My wife had calamari which was soggy and bland. She would have had wings but now their wings are breaded...(breading is cheaper than chicken). The red wines they carry aspire to mediocrity. The service was good and fairly prompt but with the quality of the food I won't be going back.
Absolutely amazing!!! We literally drive all the way from Georgetown just for their incredible fries!!! Omg so good!!!! Their French dip, chicken club with chipotle mayo and their truffle fries are literally the best we’ve ever had and we’re travelling foodies Place was very...friendly and clean! Lots of parking and an amazing patio (we didn’t use it this time as it’s February but we were on it in the summer Book a table now
My friend and I both ordered the Big Smokeburger, and we found it to be quite dry with very little flavor. It was supposed to come with chipotle aioli, but it tasted more like BBQ sauce. The fries were tasty, but they seemed like they were frozen and not freshly made. Despite the food issues, all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is about the quality of the food.
Super annoyed that they no longer provide glasses of water. You have to buy a bottle of water at a 2$ charge. My husband and I ordered drinks, hot wings and other appetizers. I asked for a glass of water to go with my red...winer and the waitress rudely told me that they charge 2 s for bottles of water and that they no longer have water by the glass.
agree with the other evaluation. Why can't I get a glass of lead water. why I have to pay 2.00 for a bottle of water. the prices are high and now they charge for water. hey, we're all together.
Great place to go for a great meal. By the time I ordered, I received my drink and my appetizer within minutes. The main course came right in time as well. Everything was hot and fresh. Book a table now
