since we live around the neighborhood, we sometimes pass by this Chinese restaurant where we often see lotsa Chinese people eat here..... <br/ <br/ so today we decided to try it for dinner.... the place tonight wasn 't really that busy... there were only about 4 tables occupied including ours.... so we don 't need to wait for any line... not a bad start.... : <br/ <br/ Sat down and been offered a Menu which a bit confusing to understand... and when we asked for explanation from the waiter, they hardly speaks English... but we got one of the seniors there I think that speaks better English and approach us to give us better understanding of the Menu and how it works.... <br/ <br/ So apparently...

this place is a little not accepted and certainly has not prepared us for the good eating, nor this unusual type of cooking where it is done in a pot before them. they have options on the number of courses and how hot the picture will be, but essentially they choose the proteins and vegetables and let them cook. if they like the surprise, not to know what happens (if they can speak Chinese), then they will love this place. everything was well cooked and tasted super.

I use to eat here when i could. The food is really good if you want something new and exciting in terms of flavours. However, the service is quite average and the value for money is really bad.. The only times i really tried to eat here was during their off special. They charge a lot for a meal that needs to be cooked in front of you and takes another minutes of staring at.
We loved this place when we lived in Hurstville. Went there a few times. Loved the concept of cooking the pot on the table right in front of us. We can eat spicy.. But we always still found the medium spicy.. A bit hot for us.. Still so good. The handmade noodles are great. The pot is too much for 2and we always brought back the leftovers.
