after a disappointing Laksa lunch last week I was determined to correct the dinge again and delete my Laksa friend again. this time I found myself again at greenwood plaza at simply noodles. I used to visit the macquarie centre and know the menu pretty well. the laksa at macquarie was reasonable, so I hope it would be an improvement or at least on par it this time was not disappointing, the suppe was rich, creamy and full of the usual laksa taste. it was spicy, tender, hearty, sweet, all arome and textures in a large bowl. the noodles were thicker that had a bit more chewiness and texture as I had preferred. it was so satisfied and put me in a good mood...read more

had demanded a laksa, but shortly after time did not want to brave the heat outside, so here ended with simply noodles in the greenwood foodcourt. at this point my expectations were not high. So I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the bbq schweinelaksa, it was really fast done. next to the BBQ-Pork there were also some Tofu-Puffs-Bohnen-Spruten. the Laksa soup had a good balance, so was not too salty and not sweet. the generous food of sambal gave him the extra kick. a good fast lunch option.

Found these guys looking for a late lunch today. In case you ever have to, these guys still cook to order at 3.30pm. Very good char kway teow. Perfect noodles, BBQ pork and sausage and just the right amount of soy. Had it with a side of chili sauce, delish!

oily. hard rice. not well flavored or evenly aromatized. oily. although the end of the day container are quite large for $4, the rice was not very pleasant. lack of pleasure too. a white rice without any support.
