I really enjoyed the casual atmosphere, efficient service and fantastic coffee. We each had a coffee and some breakfast. I ordered the organic fruit toast with honey and whipped ricotta, this was fantastic. Not just 'raisin toast' but proper thick cut, dense fruit toast! Great and filling brekkie. My partner had the scrambled eggs on what looked like ciabatta/sourdough toast, with relish on the side. Our coffee was one of the best I had while in Brisbane. We were served promptly and had friendly service on a pretty busy Saturday morning. Will return when back in Brisbane!
It was obvious from our visits during a 3 day stay in Spring Hill that this little cafe is a firm local favourite. And it's easy to see why. The coffee was good, the staff super-friendly and the breakfasts delicious. The house-made granola with fruit and yoghurt was excellent but my favourite was the haloumi and mushroom stack. It's often busy in the mornings so be prepared to sharer a table but our orders always came promptly and with a smile.
Went here as was close to hotel where I was staying for work. Welcoming staff. First morning order the mushroom and haloumi stack which was delicious. Second morning scrambled eggs and sourdough toast. Very generous portion and well seasoned. Really liked the ambience. Coffee was excellent, although it's a bit hard to stuff up a long black. Efficient service. Very reasonable price. Can be busy and you may have to sit outside.
Maybe be I should have taken the hint from the guy on his phone loudly dissing the breakfast but he seemed weird so I tried anyway. Coffee ordered, order forgotten, arrived eventually. The Acari bowl was a frozen syrup served with a couple of strawberries and some nuts somewhere in a purple swamp.

We were passing and found the most perfect salad and a smashed bagel.?? The food together with the house red wine were excellent. The chef arranged for us a special mix of salad. The staff are very friendly and polite. A small and hidden gem. Recommended.
The food was inventive but there was a taste that just wasnt quite right in most items we ordered. the cafe is small so we ended up having a group of people join our table which is fine except it scared my young son so we had to leave.
As mentioned in the title, this place punches above its weight, good atmosphere. nice little shop. Coffee is quick and good. Breakky tasteful, hearty and plenty. Price level pretty alright.
SisCo visit was one of best breakfast meals we've had in our two weeks in AustraliaSourdough bread was exceptional.
