my complaint concerns my booking. I booked weeks in advance so we can enjoy the view from the dachrestaurant. I used the open table system and booked on the line. I received a confirmation by email. the day before I received another email. I took them with me, thank you for the good. at the arrival we were greeted and said we were not on the booking list. we wanted to get up and say the same thing again. when I wrote the confirmation, we were allowed to eat, but instead of a window, we were pushed in the middle of the room. all the windows were empty, as it was only 6pm. we had traveled a stretch with the train for my friends 50th birthday, so they imagined my embarrassment when it occurred....
we were at the varsity hotel, so we thought we were supposed to dive in one night. views were amazingly good eating, although portions were too big! the part was the slow service that we have waited for 45 minutes for our starter and how they can see the cook at work, it was easy to notice other later orders before us. the manager valter accepted our feedback and apologized. this was an informal and canteen style when I expected. the attempt to book here, instead of the ground floor steak restaurant, was the prospect. but I felt too informative for a hotel of this quality.
Located on the 6th floor of the Varsity Hotel, this restaurant offers stunning panoramic views of Cambridge that are beautifully illuminated in the evening. The menu clearly labels vegan options, which are of extremely high quality. The restaurant also boasts an extensive selection of cocktails. The staff are lovely, making it a worthwhile destination for a fancy meal out.
I only tried the afternoon tea, so I can only comment on that. My carnivorous friends were envious of the vegan afternoon tea compared to the traditional one. I will include a photo. The sandwiches were larger, there was plenty of fruit, and the dessert was superior.

I started with the vegetable samosas, followed by the mushroom risotto and finished with the chocolate and orange tart. Everything was delicious, especially the chocolate tart. The service was excellent and it was a treat to enjoy the panoramic view of Cambridge.
great location, eat, drink and atmosphere. we always have a good time and would recommend six. we recommended to visit our last visit, which we brought five friends with us, who all dreamed about it. Thank you for meeting the recommendation we gave them.
We just had an amazing dinner. Marco was absolutely wonderful and the food was superb. I had all three vegan dishes: vegetable tempura, mushroom risotto and an orange and chocolate tart. We will definitely return! :
I took my enjoyable others for a romantic date and we had a nice time with nice eating and great, attentive service. the prospects were incredible, despite the rain, and added something special to our experience.
