The food at this restaurant was very good, with interesting flavor combinations. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. There were too many different servers who seemed inexperienced, as they failed to inform us about menu items being unavailable and made mistakes like offering dessert menus while clearing our starter plates. Additionally, my partner's sparkling water was topped up with still water, even though a bottle of sparkling water was on our table. The location and views are great, but the service lacks the sophistication necessary to make it a top destination. It may be a one-time visit rather than a repeat dining experience.
The food at this restaurant is good but not outstanding. It offers decent value for the price. The staff could use more training as they cleared plates before everyone had finished eating. The restaurant has improved significantly since our first visit several years ago, with much better food and a reasonable wine list with good options. The view is nice. While it may not be the best restaurant in Nottingham, it was a suitable alternative as our first choice was closed. With improved staff training and a more adventurous menu, this place has the potential to be exceptional. I would likely return in the future.
The venue is fabulous spectacular nightime views over the City and surrounds different from the summer. The seasonal menu had a great range for all tastes, and the food which arrived, in exactly the right tempo was superb. Rich, flavourful, beautifully presented. The people of six are fantastic too they provided a relaxing and informal service, nothing was too much trouble. We had a memorable, perfect evening. Thank you all!
A wonderful experience. The food was really lovely, beautifully presented, and tasted delicious. The staff were so attentive, and provided quiet and professional service. The manager Adam was outstanding in his attention. Friendly, helpful, professional, and so lovely, a real asset to any establishment. Cannot rate him highly enough. Love this place.

Superb food and drink coupled with outstanding service, and not Christmassed out which meant a lot for a birthday meal! Having said that the clementine bavarois was Christmas on a plate in a super subtle way genius use of seasonal ingredients. Keep up the great work Six!
Lovely food, beautifully presented. A table nearer the window with a view would have made it more special. Service was ok but felt rushed and not checked on. Had to pour own wine after first glass.
This was one of the best meals we have ever had. The only small issue was that the lighting was too bright. Some dim lighting would have been more pleasant.
Food wasn't hot. Wine glasses topped up too often so wine was then warm to drink. Desserts were poor.
