One of a kind experience. You must check this out! One minute you are walking through an odd yet charming old office building and the next moment you are transported to an exotic little speakeasy with fantastic staff, hands-on owners with pride in their venture, and some of the most creative, tasty cocktails you have ever tasted! We had 6 people in a private space and were treated much better then we deserve!!! Thank you to the staff and owners again for going above and beyond to make our time memorable and fun! Hands down one of the best cocktail experience we have ever had. The staff at Skaalvenn made us feel like we were family and they treated us to some of the best cocktails made with great attention to presentation and flavor. The owners, Tyson and Mary, have clearly poured their hearts out in building this experience and gathering a team of incredible and warm bartenders. They blend a crafted fine cocktail experience with a feeling of home which is impossible to put into words. You really have to go to experience it!
This is a fantastic hidden gem! I was surprised to find it tucked away in a business building, but there are plenty of signs to guide you. The atmosphere is very cool and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Bryce and Max were exceptional and went above and beyond for our group! The drinks were tasty and well-made. I will definitely be coming back! Just a few things to keep in mind: reservations are necessary, and while they don't serve full meals, they do have a few snack options available for purchase.
great music. amazing waiter and teamwork. the drinks sounded funny, sometimes the description to read, but my friends, we had about 90% of the drinks and they are all amazing. I love the calle ocho, the peter tosh.o, the aquavit manhattan, the beet hibiscus daiquiri. etc. I wish I had lived here so that I could come back more!

My spouse and i really enjoyed this place! Beautifully designed, fun speakeasy vibe (in the middle of an office building, but completely forget that once inside), and the drinks were very unique and delicious! We live in Mendota Heights and found the 40 minute drive well worth our time!
Amazing atmosphere, staff and drinks! Tyson and Mary have thought of everything to make your visit superb. From the ambience to the drink selection to the little details like the engraved ice cubes. Exceeded me expectations and I will be going back frequently.
This distillery is truly intriguing, offering delicious and one-of-a-kind creations, with excellent bar staff. I will definitely return and have already suggested this spot to some friends.
