Skappo - Table reservation

We went to this place for my dad?s birthday. We walk in and are immediately greeted by ?Mama? Anna who quickly bonded with my sister upon hearing her speak Italian. Anna was so sweet and welcoming. I hadn?t even sat at the table yet and felt like I was with family. The food was incredible!! We all ordered different dishes and I ate my entire plate? I NEVER eat my whole meal but the portions were big enough to satisfy while not being so much that you felt uncomfortable afterwards. The waitress was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The small, family atmosphere is so sweet and welcoming. I've never even dreamed of lasagna this good and I've worked in award winning restaurants before. The food was impeccable. A really clean, strong flavor profile. We got to talk to the family and it was so pleasant. I haven't felt so much love in a dish in a long time. I highly recommend.

My wife and I had an excellent time in Skappo. Food and service is exceptional. Some of the best Italian food we had in Connecticut and would recommend this place to everyone.

Delicious! Highly recommend. The carbonara was peppery and delicious and the bolognese was very hearty and full of flavor. Figs and ricotta appetizers were delicious
