I visited Skylight Bar Restaurant for the first time, guided by a friend who grew up in the Hudson neighborhood. My friend Bob has always praised their pizza, so we decided to check it out. Bob and his wife MaryAnn are regulars there, and now I understand why! Skylight Bar Restaurant is truly one of the best in the area. It has that classic pizza parlor vibe, and the service is exceptional—everything you need is taken care of without even having to ask. The pizza is absolutely delicious, baked to perfection. I can’t recommend Skylight enough; it has a nostalgic charm and fantastic food. Don't overlook this hidden gem, and a big thank you to my friend Bob for introducing me to Skylight!
It was my first time at Dominick 's, I was taken there by a friend that grew up in the Hudson neighborhood. My friend Bob has always raved about how good the pizza is so we went. Bob and his Wife MaryAnn S., frequently go there and are considered regulars. I have to say that Dominick 's Cafe/Pizza is one of the best around!It 's an old time Pizza Parlor and the servers are top notch, you never have to ask for anything.The pizza is sooooo delicious, baked to perfection.I can 't say enough great things about Dominick 's. It has an Old time feeling and the food is great. Don 't miss this hidden treasure.And many thanks to my friend Bobby S. for taking me to Dominick 's.
Just looking to try this small place for pizza instead of ordering from somewhere like dominos. Only ordered three pizzas to take back home and got charged like $80. First place I 've ever seen in my life that charges by the slice and topping per slice instead of a separate charge for a whole pizza. Wasn 't told until I got there to pick it up, when the pizza was already made, having to listen to the employees talk about how "she 's a scumbag for charging people this much "Would never go back again. Pizza was thin and definitely could have made 40 pizzas for the same price. Insane.
New ownership. Kind of disappointed as the pizza was $19 for a pie and was not worth the money! Very small and mediocre. Prices are just too high for the size and quality! Ordered BONELESS wings $10 and was given a plate of grilled chicken with wing sauce thrown on it. I don’t think they have a clue as to what they are doing. I don’t mind paying for a good meal when it’s worth it value wise. Won’t be back until something’s fixed. This are is also a quiet area and these parties they plan on throwing won’t last long! Keep that out of a residential neighborhood!

Use to be one of my favorite places to eat but sadly enough we were there two weeks ago and we had the worst meal that I ever had anywhere. We told the waitress about the meals and she said she told the chef but that was it we didn't finish our meals and nothing was taken off our bill. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. Pizza was reheated and Clams were pre steamed and heated again. Stay away from their tripe if that's what they want to call it.
All the reviews below are outdated and refer to the establishment when it was called Dominick's. It has been rebranded as Skylight Bar Restaurant, which opened in November 2022 under new ownership. I have not come across any reviews from current patrons.
I just popped in for some pizza now that it has reopened as the Skylight, and the pizza was incredible! I will definitely be coming back for more.
Let's just say...this place isn't Dominick's. I give it a few months before it turns into a trouble spot.
