So they decided to close early last night and then the bartender proceeded to to tell us to get out, as I’m in the bathroom getting ready to leave. I hear her pounding on the bar and she’s taking off things ready to fight! Like what is happening? The men who worked at the bar did ABSOLUTELY nothing to stop her from Hitting and pulling the hair of one of their patrons. None of this makes sense. Go somewhere else, there’s plenty of places around. Shameful behavior.
This is definitely the best bar on Madison Street. I traveled from Michigan to celebrate New Year's, and after being away for just an hour, I had to return. I won't be going anywhere else. If you treat the bar staff well, they'll return the favor; they're incredible people. If my review isn't true, feel free to let me know, and I'll come back just to let you punch me in the face!
My friend and I were simply looking for a bar to grab a beer and catch a game, but upon entering, we were confronted by a man who wanted to pick a fight. His girlfriend began to yell at us about "white pride" in Forest Park and made threats towards us. The restaurant staff did nothing to step in, and unfortunately, we couldn't even enjoy a single beer there.
I visited a restaurant to meet a friend on a Friday night two weeks ago. However, when I arrived at 6 PM, I found the doors locked, the lights off, and no sign of any activity. I believed it was an Irish pub and thought that since it was a new establishment, it couldn't be too disappointing. Sadly, it left me with a very negative first impression. Book a table now
Great pub in Forrest Park with a welcoming atmosphere. The bar is well-designed, featuring pool tables and darts for entertainment. The beer taps are unique—I’d never seen them pour pints quite like that before. They also offer a solid selection of draft beers.
My best friend plays in a pool league that occasionally meets here. They have two pool tables in the back, along with TVs showing sports with captions. It's a great spot to relax and unwind. The pub is clean, and the staff and patrons are friendly.
Needing a cold draft, stop into Slainte Irish Pub. Their bottom up draft system pours a perfect round. Decent bar menu, appetizers and stiff pours. Not too crowded at this time, had a pool league happening this night.
Scratch has moved to a new location, and it's a marked improvement! The Madison area continues to enhance and evolve in wonderful ways... Book a table now
Slainte Irish Pub is always a great spot to relax and enjoy drinks at excellent prices, with a menu that offers something for everyone.
