For years, I thought Slave to the Grind was an Irish pub—perhaps it was the green awnings that led me to that conclusion, haha. To my surprise, it's actually a delightful, aromatic gem in the Bronxville area. With endless coffee, exceptional customer service, and did I mention endless coffee? This place has become my go-to spot for the summer. My girlfriend is a big fan of their chai, although their matcha can be inconsistent depending on who is making it. Regardless, I can confidently recommend this place. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I might just indulge in one of their specialty roasts displayed on the wall. I think you should too. Cheers!

Let me start by saying the aroma when you walk in is heavenly but the best part was just being greeted even though the barista was in the middle of helping someone else. I'm a plain Jane when it comes to coffee, hot/cold and black. Although their chalk board was a little overwhelming I decided to be a rebel this time and go with an iced coffee cake flavored black coffee. I must admit I was blown away at first sip. It was as delicious as dipping coffee cake into a hot coffee or sipping on some coffee with some coffee cake in my mouth. Either way they nailed the flavor and I'll be back to try some other flavors.

Great prices and service. Flavored 32 oz iced coffee for less than $5!The iced coffee is a must here. Highly recommend the oatmeal cookie and hazelnut flavors. The flavored coffees aren't sweet, which is a great plus for me. I love trying new flavors but don't care for sweet coffee drinksAlways a line but it moved pretty fast. 20 person long line here is like a 5 person line at Starbucks.

Great little coffee shop. Definitely had a college caffeine break vibe. Cool list of creative signature drinks too. Went mid day on a Friday and the line was huge, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it moved. Only downside I could see was lack of indoor seating if you are looking to spend a few hours with a laptop or book it could be hit or miss during busy hours. Book a table now

The staff was very polite, and the atmosphere was fantastic, with quick service. However, compared to nearby coffee shops, the mocha lacked a bit of flavor. I noticed some dirt on the tables occasionally, but overall, I would still recommend this place!

Service was good, however. We tried repeatedly to love a local coffee shop , but for 2 cookies for $7! No. The cookies were awful. They weren't even good cookies. Every drink was torture. Definitely overrated.

The coffee was decent but not worth the price. I also bought two croissants, and they were so stale that they were inedible; they should not have been available for sale. Book a table now

Absolutely adorable with an extensive menu! Very cozy feeling and friendly baristas. I had a delicious Swiss mocha almond iced coffee and my husband had the Professor!

It's a bit overhyped. My sugar cookie iced coffee tasted like coconut, and the place felt a bit chaotic.
