when we first showed up, we accidentally went down to the cafe. the workers there were incredibly nice and thoughtful, they went up to check if they were rooms for us and fit us. the woman who served us was very efficient and very polite. I think her name was christina (I'm sorry if that's wrong) we set ourselves and ordered in the menu. they had some nice options and variety that was all fresh and local. we had some complementary pistachios to eat while we waited for eating. the dining room is small but not closed. they had a great choice of crying from everywhere. all the food we saw astonishing and tastefully balanced. the dessert was also well presented and well composed on the afternoon...
As the name implies, this restaurant is a cozy, intimate space, so making a reservation is a must. Our 7:30 PM seating on a Friday night was quite busy. The service was consistently friendly and professional, although there were times when it was a bit challenging to get someone’s attention for ordering more wine. The food was straightforward, fresh, and delicious, with simple presentation. We shared three small dishes and a dessert, which was more than enough for the two of us. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, and they even offer a selection of Sake. As for parking, there is plenty available in the adjacent lot or on the street.
I went with a group of friends to the small town food wine and we had luck having the $85 set menu! our diets were without damping (or inequality between quality) and all portions were generous without filling. the chefs have an incredible understanding of taste and texture, all perfectly married. I highly recommend to get the wee pairing, as all weeping with a beautiful subtlety that has not taken away from the food shake! a special mention of our server grace, which was very friendly and welcoming on the products she served.
Everything we had here was just so **** delicious. We did the set menu and there were no weak links in what we were served. Enough food as well to not leave you hungry and plenty of fresh ingredients! The atmosphere was lovely, the staff are friendly and down to earth, I loved how small it was. Great wines. We’re from Melbourne and eat out there all the time and I’d say this is better than most meals I’ve had there.

This little eatery off the main strip of Milton is absolutely fantastic! The food was inventive, fresh and utterly delicious (the octopus and parfait were my favourites), tasting menu was the right amount of food, great bar, and excellent customer service. Every morsel was exquisite! Forgot to take photos apart from this one. Bread is a must to savour every drop of sauce. We will be back!!!
