This place is a drinking person's palace. Their shelves are stocked with spirits that any respectable alcoholic is going to consider worthy of liver destruction. I mean that in the most honorable way possible. If I lived in Austin all of my desposable income would be spent exploring their inventory.
There's no shortage of places to get your drink in in Austin. Small Victory isn't one where the party happening. It is where you'll find a kick ass cocktail with equally kick ass bartenders. A must go-to bar for people who appreciate booze and all the sexy things you can do with it.
I used to come here in the 70's and 80's when it was the burger joint, Mike's Pub. One of my 30-something friends recommended it recently. I really like what they have done with that tiny space. Cool vibe. Good service. I live in Dallas now but I'll be back often.
I can't say enough good things about this bar. It's still one of my favorites in the country. Perfection when it comes to my martini and service is always front and center. It will always be in my must go to list.
