When I finally sat down, Matthew served me and was absolutely wonderful—patient and friendly, letting me take my time with the menu. However, Trent, you saw me trying to get your attention and even signaling that I wanted to be seated, but your reaction made me feel ignored. I also noticed Trent being rather harsh with another staff member, which seemed inappropriate and made me question his attitude. Surprisingly, that employee appeared to defend him. As for the food, aside from the cornbread, nothing stood out as good or even edible. I was disappointed to learn they were out of the brisket I’d been eager to try, and my appetizer arrived incomplete. Thinking back, I remembered a charismat...

En route to the airport, karen and I needed to stop by the nearby Target store to buy extra locks for our luggage. We were also pretty hungry as we pulled in to the parking lot and noticed Smokey Bones. There was some extra time to kill and always lovesome good BBQ, as the smell was luring us in. We ordered the Korean pork belly pops and the double trouble baby back/St. Louisrib combo plate. The pork pops were out of this world good, and the ribs(both), were well smoked and juicy with full flavor. Thehomemade doughnuts were to die for. The waitress was very nice and helpful. She gave us extra lemon water to go and thebathrooms were clean. I wish there were places like this in the California...
Terrific recent experience here! Last time we were here was over five years ago. The food seems even better than I remember. Our fabulous server was Morgan; definitely asking for her again next time. She made a good dining experience even better by beingattentive, friendly, fast! The meats are good; BBQ baked beans and the fire roasted corn are both terrific sides! TheirBrunswick stew is also delicious just very lightly sweet, which enhances the flavor even more. I just wish they'd serve it alittle warmer instead of lukewarm. Nevertheless, we'll be back very soon.
I recently had a fantastic experience at Smokey Bones! It had been more than five years since my last visit, and the food has only improved. Our server Morgan was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and prompt—making our visit truly memorable. The meat was flavorful, and the BBQ baked beans and roasted corn were excellent sides. The Brunswick stew was delicious, with a subtle sweetness that added to the taste. My only minor critique is that the stew could have been served hotter rather than lukewarm. Despite that, we’ll definitely be coming back soon! Book a table now
The service was absolutely terrible, but what really ruined the experience was being given cheap plastic silverware to eat our steaks and ribs with. After spending $100, we gave up because half of those flimsy cutlery packs broke. I will never return to a place that charges so much yet treats its customers so poorly.
The staff was limited and service was slow, though the food arrived quickly. The taste was excellent, but the portions were quite small for the price. They even put a piece of bread under the pulled pork to make it seem like there’s more than there actually is.
During a busy Sunday rush, I noticed two employees doing their utmost to manage the situation, while the manager was sitting down to eat during a meeting. It was disheartening to see one of the employees in tears; it just didn't feel right.
My husband and I decided to go out for dinner on Saturday evening. We tried visiting three other restaurants, but each had a wait time exceeding 90 minutes. Then we spotted Smokey Bones and... Book a table now
Ruthie was an excellent waitress, always keeping our drinks refreshed so we never went without. The food was outstanding! This place is definitely worth a visit, and we’ll be returning!
