I can't say enough good things about Smokey Oaks Tavern. From the delicious food and great drinks to the friendly staff and welcoming owners, every visit has been an amazing experience. It took us some time to finally stop in after driving by so often, but now it’s a permanent favorite in our dining lineup. Prices are reasonable, and they offer an impressive variety of beer, wine, and spirits, along with some of the best food in town. Some of my top picks include an Old Fashioned paired with their smoked buffalo wings and Brussels sprouts, or a nitro stout alongside a BBQ rib plate and grilled artichoke. Their food and drinks are truly exceptional!
I visited this restaurant for dinner on Valentine's Day and had about a 20-minute wait. The tables are well-spaced, which helps prevent crowding in the cozy setting. They seemed quite busy, so we waited a little longer for service, but it was efficient. The crispy Brussels sprouts were delicious, though they could have used a bit more sauce. The Tri-Tip sandwich was fantastic! It had soft French bread, flavorful tri-tip, and just the right amount of tangy BBQ sauce. The dirty fries were decent, but I think I was too full to give them a fair assessment. The decor was nothing special, but overall, it was a solid dining experience.
The drink selection is fantastic, with many refreshing options, or you can order something from the bar. The atmosphere is cozy, featuring a beautifully decorated cabin-like setting with plenty of tables. It’s a friendly place to dine, offering excellent food and attentive service. The staff checked on us at least twice to ensure we had everything we needed.
The space is clean, including the restrooms. The bar is mainly located on the left side, while the right side offers quieter tables, perfect for enjoying a meal alone or with a larger group. Definitely give this place a try!
I hadn't visited this restaurant in years and heard that it has different owners now. Everything has improved since my last visit. The decor, service, and food were all great. I appreciated the excellent selection of beers, which included more than just IPAs. We ordered the steak sandwich and hot link sandwich, both of which were very tasty. The steak was incredibly tender, and the bread was really fresh. The tots were delicious as well!

The mac and cheese tasted stale, while the smoked meat combo, which included tri-tip, was good. I also ordered a side salad, but the fries were missing. The noodles in the mac and cheese had a strange flavor, and I'm not sure what was going on with it. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. On the bright side, the server was very friendly and helpful, but overall, the food was just average.
Kinda left awhile at bar and the bar tender was aware of me he just seemed to favor this couple and they were before any food I ordered and they were talking about just random stuff so ya the scene was a little bit of a let down but it's a small place. I think I'll stick to just ordering from there and bring it home so I get a win win situation for me :
Popped in for a drink and an appetizer and was genuinely impressed. The dining room and bar are inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They offer a wide range of beers to suit all tastes, and the cocktails were excellent as well. Although we only tried an appetizer, the SOT Tots were outstanding. We’ll definitely be returning.
