This is a review of an eat in meal. The price of the food suggested it was going to be good, because it isn’t cheap . I have eaten here twice. The first time, I had an English cooked breakfast. That was pretty poor. Cheap ingredients . But I figured it might be because they don’t specialise in full English breakfasts, so I decided to call in again and have a desi special breakfast and desi tea. Very disappointing. Basically oily scrambled eggs with peppers and things in it, plus baked beans and a dry roti type flat bread. Nothing to justify the £6.50 price. Desi tea , pointless and not very nice for £1.50. Just disappointing. They seem very busy with takeaway delivery orders. Perhaps that is...
I have tried the Desi breakfast that has the spicy scrambled egg with a parantha. Also tried their Parontha and Chhole (chickpea curry) the other day. The chickpea curry was so good I actually called the restaurant and thanked them while I was eating it. Absolutely delighted. Clean place and very good quality food.
One cold sausage cut into four pieces with raw onion for £3.80. The cob had inedible mould on it. Overall, the dish was vile and a waste of money. I will never be dining here again.
Really good food and great service, had the jumbo breakfast box and everything was cooked to perfection. New lads in there are doing something different now.
