The Cafe De La Gare is located just across the street from Amboise's train station. I was there in November, in the off-season, and stopped in for a coffee while I waited for the train back to Paris. On a Sunday afternoon in winter, I was the only customer, but the family who owns the cafe had gathered at the restaurant and were enjoying little appetizers and coffees, standing at the bar and chatting. Ce café est situé juste en face de la gare d'Amboise. L'accueil est vraiment sympa, prix raisonnable ! La terrasse est superbe et couverte. Je recommande cet endroit !!!
