Looking for last minute brunch date along the coast. Most places were overcrowded and noisy and then we spotted the North Beach Deli for the first time. It certainly won 't be the last and it 's title Deli doesn 't really fit this cafe. A bit breezy out front so found a great spot inside. The staff were fantastic. Coffee and Mocha were good and hot. Our meals were impressive and from a menu with a few different choices which was good to see.
I have friends nearby so decided to check out the Sunday session; live acoustic music with nice drinks and food. West Coast drive always delivers great views including sunset. Live music was just a summer thing so went back a couple weeks later for the roast. So handy being walking distance from my friends place, as we previously had to drive north to Sorrento or south to Scarborough.
It was time for the family to get together for a brunch at a unique place. North Beach Deli provided us with the. Booked in advance, just as well as it is very popular. We all had fruit drinks for starters, they were amazing!We tried the lot: squid, fritters and breaky tacos (with haloumi). Delish! Highly recommended but book first.
I used to love this spot they had a great menu with tasty burgers and salads, but now It has gone down hill food was awful and the menu is disappointing, only thing that saved it for me was the nice coffee
