The restaurant is conveniently located and the rooms are pleasant. However, there was a slight musty smell in my room when I first entered. Overall, this is a decent but pricey 4-star hotel. I'm unsure if it truly deserves a 5-star rating.

I am a huge fan of the service at Sofitel. The staff are outstanding in their roles - friendly, courteous, and everything you could hope for. The Sofitel on the Gold Coast does not disappoint.
