We had a lovely dinner here. We had a reservation and our table was ready. Service was excellent. Every component of the dishes is scratch made and it shows. All the dishes were excellent. The lobster cappellacci was outstanding. It was so good that samples were shared around the table. The ravioli's were huge and stuffed with lobster and the sauce was perfection.
The noise level was such that as a party of four we could not hear one another without raising our voices also. Noise level was very disruptive. Based on the noise level, we will not return. We dined at 5:30 on a Friday evening. Food was good. I would recommend dining at 4:30 if you want to avoid a very noisy background.
This was our first visit since coming back from Southwest Florida for the winter, and I must say that Rose and her team continue to excel in every way. The service was impeccable, starting with our first cocktail at the bar and continuing through to dessert. The food is among the very best in the western suburbs!
This restaurant is exceptional. Everything, from the food to the service, was perfect. It's a hidden gem that everyone should discover. The chef, who is the mom, is amazing. The cacio e Pepe was delicious but I was expecting more in the presentation. Seemed like they warmed up the cheese wheel away from the table and then brought it. Pistachio ricotta cake was amazing! Drinks were tasty but seemed light on the alcohol for how expensive they were.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Il Sogno. The atmosphere was laid-back, with no pressure to rush our orders. The food was outstanding; I highly recommend the Chicken Piccata, and my friend particularly enjoyed the Sea Bass.
Had a great birthday dinner for my fiance last night on the rooftop. Food was delicious, service was great, ambiance reminds me of a Fulton Market West Loop restaurant but so much closer to home. We'll be back!

This is my favorite restaurant in the Chicago area. The food, the service and the atmosphere is perfect. I've traveled extensively in Italy but love the food at Il Sogno the best.
