Cool little restaurant in Red Hook! Front the outside it doesn’t look like much but inside the vibes are impeccable. Also the food was fast and they have a specific menu for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, etc. Also the kitchen is open to the seating area so it’s fun to watch them cook!Vegetarian options: Loads of options!Dietary restrictions: They have a separate menu for dietary restrictions!

Authentic Thai cooking. Haven’t had food this good since our trip to Thailand. The grilled squid was out of this world good! The super fresh and spicy dipping sauce made it even better. The pork necks were tender and flavorful. The Thai tea was great too. Loved the atmosphere and the service. You gotta try this place (or the original in Manhattan). Be prepared for heat, but it’s so worth it.

Vegetarian but wanted to try some specialized Isan food. I got the Somtum Thai, Mushroom Larb, and the Spicy Pad Thai with tofu (2 spice level). Everything was really good, even the pad Thai was pleasantly better than an average pan-Thai restaurant, and nothing was too spicy for me. I'd eat here again but ultimately think I prefer other regional Thai cuisine (i.e. curries) more.

Amazing dishes. The service could use some work. They were busy on a Saturday night and have tables indoors and outdoors. It was very difficult to find our waiter for ordering dishes, notifying a dish was missing, finding the check and paying the check. They are short staffed and if not, they can turn over the tables quicker. Outdoors has plenty of mosquitoes! Book a table now

I 'm always looking for the kind of dishes I 've seen when Anthony Bourdain visited places, but never found anything to resemble his finds until today, when my daughter introduced me to Somtum Der. OMG...right out of No Reservations. Yep, I was impressed to say the least, and yes, I will return.

Hands down the best Thai food in NYC! Their backyard is an adorable and tranquil setting for some spicy pad Thai and an ice cold Chang beer. Kind, attentive service and excellent vegetarian options.

Sat in the garden, which was lovely. Food was reasonably good but quite spicy, as Isan Thai generally is. The downside is expense. The prices seem higher than other Thai restaurants.

Had a perfect meal here tonight. Pad Thai was amazing; not overly sweet like most NYC Thai food. Also had some spicy pork as an appetizer. Will be coming back to try more ASAP. Book a table now

They offer a nice menu with a good selection of thai dishes. Large portions, we tried khao pad pak and khao pad dishes: they were great!
