Additionally, I sampled a selection of cakes to discover what the highlights were. Although on the pricier side, the cakes were surprisingly large and, more importantly, all delicious. The matcha aroma was rich and earthy, and the fruit used in the short cakes was fresh and sweet. The cream and sponge cake were spot-on, and the flavors were well-balanced without being overly sweet.
Overall, it's a fantastic Japanese dessert cafe. It tends to get quite busy, so I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. I highly recommend the cakes, even if you have to take some to go!
Looks better than it tastes and way over priced. I expected for $13/piece to get some exceptional taste, well, the taste was exceptionally weird.I understand that some people might like it, but I did not. Sorry!
