But the food was not really Korean food, and it was pricey. We got something simple: seafood pancake, one order of galbi, and 2 stews. My dwenjang jjigae (stew) was soupy and kind of clearish which it really should not be, and it did not taste like dwenjang? My friend's soondubu jjigae was not flavorful as well. I had a rather peculiar experience at this restaurant. When I walked in, it was completely empty, yet the atmosphere was inviting. Someone approached me to hand me a menu, but I wasn't directed to any of the available tables, so I ended up sitting on a couple of chairs in the waiting area. Eventually, another staff member came to take my order, without asking if I was there for takeout. After paying, I was left unsure about whether I should sit at a table or stay where I was, which made the situation feel pretty unwelcoming. The food here is amazing, though a bit on the expensive side! We tried the cheesy tteokbokki and pork, which was served with pickles, beansprouts, lettuce, rice, and what I believe was pickled radish (I had no idea radishes could taste this good). The only downside was that our waitress didn't check on us, so we ended up running out of water, which was a bit of a hassle. Nevertheless, I would definitely come back or consider ordering takeout. The food was fantastic, perfectly spiced. My daughter and I really enjoyed our meal. I ordered the squid, which was cooked to perfection. The dumplings were among the best I’ve ever had, and my daughter almost drank the delicious sauce right off the plate. The quality of the food was excellent, and it was well-priced considering the generous portions. We can't wait to return and try cooking at the table! Food: 5/5

This is our favorite go-to restaurant when visiting the area. The food is great as is the service. My favorite is their Yeontan Dweji Bulgogi. Being a friendly place with nice lighting and casual atmosphere is an added touch. Metered parking right out front but no meters on parallel street, even so a small price to pay for a nice lunch or evening.
I’ve gone a few times, but today was the end of me ever going back. Hostess came out twice only to tell me one moment. Then another couple came in after me and were promptly seated while I continued to wait. It was 2:15 pm on a weekday with only one other table that was occupied. I walked out. Never again. Over priced for mediocre food.
Great food, good value. Long wait so be sure you don't have somewhere to be after. Once it cleared out a bit at the end of the dinner rush, they were awesome..Food: 5/5
