The Sonnen Alm has little to do with an alpine pasture and more with a large restaurant on the mountain. View is great. The terrace offers plenty of space for guests. Sonnen Alm Kampenwand 25.07.2022 With a short bus trip to Aschau and a walk through the village there was then a ride with the gondola to the mountain station of the Kampenwandbahn. Went there for brunch today. Nice reception. That was it then. The menu with timing was copied from last year but forgot to change the dates. This is how we as a team look forward to the 2023 brunch season... ambience; Nice but... Table for 6, there were three of us, 3 more guests came along. No problem! Problems arise because every time someone goes to the buffet, 4 people have to get up because the table can only be accessed from one side. Food: well... For the price, rather bad. Impressive location, unforgettable magic from the early evening and early morning, when only the overnight guests are there and the cable car no longer runs. Unfortunately there was very poor service at the Sonnenalm. Had to wait forever for the conditions. Drinks came way too late. Unfortunately there wasn't all the food left either. Just a very small map. Service: 1
Fantastic view and such beautiful large windows! After a lovely hiking tour through the snow, it was a great joy to find an open hut! Food was delicious and service was friendly!
