Yes, the weather was nice, and yes it was inbetween xmas and newyear - but that should not come as a surprise that it would be a lot of people in Seefeld. Not nearly enough staff to serve the people wanting to get served - and they must loose a lot of revenue by being understaffed - in addition to getting a lot of frustrated customers that left because of non-service. Hard to get such customers back later. And yes, we left as well after 20 minutes - there are other restaurants with outdoor service in Seefeld.
On a lunch break from cross country skiing we called at the terrace of this nearby hotel. We ordered two hot chocolates with cream and two. Beef goulash. The drinks came and were fine then after a delay the luke warm goulash was served on ice cold plates. The flavour somewhere between dried out beef and a hint of stale tuna fish. When I complained to the waiter he said it was cold outside so the meal was cold.I paid for the drinks but refused to pay for the cold inedible meal.
This Hotel was beautifully refitted out in the last couple of years so we thought we would try it out for an early evening snack to see if it lived up to the general ambiance. Sadly it did not! We will not be going back...More
