drive thru review The position of the drive thru was easily accessible and wide enough for larger vehicles. The menu was clear and they did not rush when you needed a minute to check the menu. I placed my order and the girl repeated the order back to me for accuracy. When I went to the pickup window, I was welcomed professionally and my order was repeated to me and then I was handed over my receipt. I was offered all kinds of spices for the cut pork sandwich on garlic bread with frits and a freshly brewed iced tea. The pig had great taste and was NOT dried. This is an attempted and true classic that my family has been here since I was very young and even my pastor who lived in Florida 40 years ago was his place. Serving people for generations is this place you should not skip. If you ever go to NASA, to the beach or find yourself in the area this is the place to go the food has somehow still its glory after all these years it is certainly worth going.
I usually come to Sonny's for ribs, I switched it up this time and ordered the dry rub chicken wing fried crispy. I'm glad I tried something else because they were great. Miles was our waiter who was ingenious, checked for us to make sure everything was fine, our drinks as needed, very polite and politely refilled. Thanks Miles Great work!!!!
The food was good, the service is good, the place is super clean and the atmosphere is great. The only thing I can share with you that I wish I knew they had unlimited BBQ for $25 (not on the menu) and I got the sampler who was amazing, but it was $18 and I would have been happy to get all you can eat.
