I have eaten here many times with my Red Hat group, with friends and with my son and daughter in law when they come out from the Chicago suburbs. The food is good This time my sisters joined is and we were allowed to sit and visit for about 2 hours It was relaxing a good visit since I tr heading to Florida and my son and DIL are headed to Costa Rica this week.
Nice breakfast food. Omelette was slightly overcooked. Service was prompt and plentiful though demeanor of servers left something to be desired. (This could be due to lack of staff, servers weren't rude or anything, just seemed so overworked that they didn't have time to smile let alone take a break.
The Eggs Benedict was good, though it had a bit too much sauce for my liking. The service was excellent; even though we were a large group, they attended to us promptly and made sure to check on us regularly.
We were greeted by the nicest people. Prices are normal for a sit down restaurant, with tasty and filling dishes. Too many great choices. Sophia's is Roscoe's best place to eat in my book. Book a table now
The lady that waited on us doesn't listen the girls said no lemon and their tea they got lemon I ordered a simple bLT and fries and I get a club
Decent food, good service. Simple cuts of onion and potato were very different in size, so they cooked inconsistantly. Not bad overall.
This is dinner food at a higher level we will absolutely return. I will say it is absolutely worth a try.
