Update: This was our third time here, we were excited our entire trip to Oregon from California to come here. It was such a treat the last two times. I ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad, my husband got the lasagna, and my daughter chose the calzone. The Caesar salad and lasagna were tasty, but the calzone lacked enough cheese, and the pizza crust was overcooked, with overly salty toppings. Additionally, there wasn't enough sauce. My daughter had a dessert called chocolate pots de crème, which was delicious. The service was excellent, so while the food was just okay, the service was fantastic.
Truly impressed. My reviews are normally fair. Great ambiance, garlic cheesy bread is out of this world. The bread itself seems homemade with a perfect bottom toast almost seeming deep fried. The rigatoni had a homemade feel to it. The pizza was fantastic with a homemade fermented honey and pepper glaze. Servers were genuinely happy and helpful. This place has high end city food in the small town of Newport, highly suggest!
On the phone they said that the cooks don't really like making pizzas so I could only order them a certain way so as not to make them mad. Whatever, i couldve gotten over that but food is miniature and the saltiest pizza I've ever had. Really terrible. Would not recommend.
