Small restaurant in the wall. Excellent food and enormous portions. I saw someone say their prices are too high. McDonald's is right next door if you want something cheaper because they have some of the cheapest prices I noticed. It is an all-hands-on-deck scenario, so sometimes the service is not as fast as many picky people would hope. However, when the food comes out, you will forget all this because the portions are correct and the food tastes even better. I can imagine that many negative Nancy's are looking to just hang the servers to your table. No. Bring a bottle of wine, sit back and enjoy yourself. And by the way, it's not dirty there. I've eaten here a few times with my family, and both times I've been very happy. I recently ordered the Chicken Francaise and it came fresh and tasty, one of the best I actually had. The Portuguese long hot and green appetizers were equally phenomenal. The area of Syracuse is decorated with high quality Italian restaurants, and this place is an excellent example of an inconspicuous Italian dining that deserves more recognition!
The food was delicious. The staff here is friendly and the atmosphere is not as hot as most other restaurants. The reason I gave a 4-star rating is because I thought it might have been a little less sauce and less bread on the Piccata. Apart from that, it was very tasteful. I would highly recommend going here if someone asked me about local restaurants. You get a full Italian meal, but remember to bring your own wine.
We eat there often and never had a bad meal. We almost tried everything on the menu. My spouse is vegetarian and there are many delicious options for her. Best Chicken Marsala I had. Large homemade sauces. Unbelievable Tiramisu. Great portions and reasonable prices. Great lunch menu too. Great location, close to the airport and route 81. Wait the staff excellent.
