Way overpriced for the experience. Food was mediocre at best. My son and fiance ordered the tavern burgers. The burgers were doused in beer cheese which made the burger a soppy mess. The beer cheese was likely to take away from the tasteless burger. My older son got the chipotle Mac n cheese which was close to inedible. Way too spicy. When you have a chipotle Mac the spice is supposed be subtle. My son didn't get through it. It was making him sick. We ordered dessert to try and compensate for the less than stellar meal. Food was o.k. The ingredients are fresh the preparation just left something to be desired. It seemed like every dish was off by a pinch of salt, zest, and fresh herbs all things easily fixed table side. Pork belly was undercooked and the beer cheese had separated the whole dish shouldn't have been served. The banana bourbon old fashion was amazing as was the staff and they had great live music. Definitely one of the better places to eat in the area and the staff and music created a great night overall.
As a frequent visitor to the Pocono dining scene, I was thoroughly impressed by the food, presentation, and service at SOTE Gastropub. It’s truly a gem for modern gastronomy in the area. I've tried their brunch, and the Eggs Norwegian are outstanding. For dinner, you absolutely must indulge in the Steak Frites, Black Garlic Salmon, Fried Chicken, and the Red Velvet Pancakes—they're all incredible!
Incredible food and attentive service! As former patrons of the previous restaurant, we noticed a dramatic improvement. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the food was absolutely divine! We tried the special venison and grilled oysters, and they were simply delicious. After this place settles in from its initial growing pains, it’s going to be tough to snag a reservation!

I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered the tacos, which were described as having jicama slaw and chilies. However, what I received was a taco filled with lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese. If I wanted that, I could have just gone to Taco Bell. I won't be returning anytime soon.
