This is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The service was exceptional only to be beat by how delectable the food was. The carbonara was cooked to perfection and the bolognese was the most flavorful thing I had tasted in a while. All the courses far exceed my expectations. Derrick was a great server. You will not be disappointed here. The food from every course was flavorful.
Our entire experience was fantastic. My cocktail (extra dirty martini, Tito's) was cold and perfectly made. Our appetizers (Bread service and charcuterie) were quickly served, and delicious, which was the same for the entrees (Branzino and Shortrib ravioli). But it our server who was truly awesome....attentive without being overly so, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, great experience.
We have been regulars at Sotto Sopra for many years, primarily because it is simply the very best Italian restaurant in the area. Every meal we have eaten there has been exceptional, and Saturday night for Restaurant Week was no exception. It was perfect as usual. Kudos to Ricardo, family and staff!

The seafood risotto is new on the menu and a $10 up charge for restaurant week. They pack it with seafood, so the value is there, but the flavor was so bland. Crunchy rice, a pile of fish, and canned tomatoes. Really disappointing. They’re also charging $7 for bread now
It was very busy Restaurant Week but the service was so friendly and apologetic so we appreciated their concern and went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding.. prefix meal was very nicely presented quality and taste and excellent value. we will come back
Food is excellent, great wine selection, and can’t beat the ambience. The best restaurant week menu year after year while maintaining quality and portion sizes. Great spot for any occasion that won’t disappoint and truly the best Italian outside of Little Italy.
