Great local diner with lots of spirit. The decor was modern and fun. Plenty of space and seating for everyone without being cramped. Great simple easy to read menus and a specials board that is large and easy to read. Staffing was amazing. I believe the owner or manager came out to our table and greeted us. He was friendly and recommended the salmon burger, which did not disappoint. The catfish platter was great also. I ordered the collard greens and slaw with it. If we lived in the area we would visit at least once a week.

Soul Fish Cafe is absolutely delicious. I’ve been there twice, and I will continue to do so when I’m in Memphis. I sat at the bar, and David Kayla waited on me. I had Ghost River’s Blonde which is a tasty, easy drinker. It paired well with the Buffalo shrimp, creole cabbage, and hush puppies. The Buffalo shrimp were spicy. It was a special, but I’d ask if you could get it if it’s not on the menu.
