This eatery was recommended by a local person who picked me up from the airport. I was brought here by a member of Central Metropolitan CME Church. I ordered the Oxtail plate with mac and cheese and green beans. Yellow rice comes with it. We had sweet tea to drink. I was pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness of the food. The Oxtails were super tender and flavorful, complimented by the yellow rice. They tasted like how I cook my own back home in Memphis. The mac and cheese was savory and cheesy. Let me tell you! This place was absolutely AMAZING. At the very beginning the hostess was very polite and welcoming. We waited about 45 minutes in a line that never went down. It stayed packed and it was worth every minute. I ordered the oxtail, rice. gravy, cabbage, yams and cornbread. Everything was good! Not one person in my group complained about the food. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! God Bless them!
The food here uses to be good. I would Recommend the oxtail, vegetables, and the fish. But lately the food is either really bland or salty. Today again my food was bland. I wanted a refund but was too shy to ask. And some of the guest do not have best attitude. It’s kinda annoying. The fried chicken is dry. And the Mac is a no. It’s clean. I like music and decorations and the location.
I only can go here once in while today I went wings were tasteless no season yams like mush…I’ve always enjoyed eating the food here but today changed it will be a loooong time before I come back? service behind counter rude but waitstaff and management pleasant… I work famous Amos for 5years and nothing touching our food.. very disappointing trip and dinner?
