I was so happy to find this place as I have many food intolerances. The fact that it is completely gluten free and vegan means that I can eat anything on the menu, which is very rare for me! I had the asian salad, a raw snickers bar and a matcha smoothie, and they were all so delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were super friendly. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Cairns!
Five of us sat down to great coffee and hot chocolates, cheesecake and tarts. Wonderful. Very tasty gluten free food, not disappointed with the selection. Varied menu. Comfortable surroundings, so clean and relaxed. Reminded me of Ubud but clean. Staff were friendly and easy to talk with. It was busy and we didn't wait for a long time for our orders. Will return soon.
Cannot rave enough about how delicious Shirley's food is at her lovely cafe. We have become regulars most weekends and have sampled everything from her burgers and crepes to scrumptious desserts such as brownies and cheesecakes. So lovely to have healthy tasty vegan options in Cairns! Doesn't matter what your dietary preferences are - Soul Kitchen is a must try!
It was amazing finding this cafe as I'm a vegetarian so there were plenty of options for me. I had the vegan nachos which were delicious and packed with so much flavour! For dessert I had a raw mars bar cake which was out of this world. I love how creative their food is. They also had a wide range of organic teas which is perfect for me as I don't drink coffee. My family and I went to Soul Kitchen Bakery and Cafe today. Between the five of us we had nachos, burgers, a curry, chai 'lattes' , and a couple of slices of cake. EVERYTHING was delicious and presented beautifully. Delicious, healthy and well priced food. Wish we had found Soul Kitchen sooner.
Soul Kitchen Cafe is full of yummy vegan food. Cakes, wraps, a hot dish of the day, salads, fruits, smoothies! I have been there twice and the food was fantastic and the coffee excellent. My brother had a berry smoothie and loved it. I highly recommend it. It's also gluten free!
So happy we discovered this tucked away gem! Hands down the tastiest food in Cairns, great value and super friendly owners. Can't believe it's all gluten free and vegan - you would never even know. Cakes are so moist and tasty, and the meals are bursting with flavour.
The only thing bad about this place is that it's not open enough! We had Falafel's Pizza and a wrap and then chased by an Apple crumble! It was all amazing! If you want to eat real food that tastes great then this is the place to come! Love it Book a table now
This is exactly what Cairns needs! I appreciated the nod to macrobiotics as well. We just need 8 clones of Shirley so she can be open all week and for dinner too. One day soon we hope! C'mon Shirley, you got this!!!
