I tried the Black Tonkotsu Ramen, which features a rich pork broth, cha-shu pork (marinated braised pork belly), crispy pork belly, menma (Japanese bamboo), nori, wood ear mushrooms, sweet corn, scallions, shredded red pepper, and black sesame in black garlic oil. The broth was savory and full of flavor. The crispy pork belly was thick-cut with a perfectly crispy skin, while the braised pork belly was tender and thinly sliced. The dish came with generous toppings. I also enjoyed the Pork Bulgogi Steamed Bun, which was incredibly flavorful and tender, with a soft bun. It was topped with plenty of scallions, so if you like scallions, it’s a great choice—as I do, it was ideal. The service was a...

I've only ever ordered delivery from this place and it is my favorite ramen! Their black tonkotsu is out of this world. The soup has a nutty black sesame taste. They give pork belly two ways (crispy and braised). There's a good amount of complementary veggies. It is only missing an egg. My partner really likes their spicy miso beef stew. The beef is so tender. I also really enjoy their chicken karage! It's my favorite chicken karage in the Boston area.I've had their pork bowls, duck bowls, and duck soup. All of it were very tasty, but I always end up with the black tonkotsu. You don't regret that one.I did hear that the other locations are not so great, so I always stick with the Brookline l...

Good service, great food, and definitely would come back! Our waitress was efficient and kind and food was great. We got the edemame, veggie steamed bun, agedashi tofu (lightly battered tofu in broth), and the spicy miso ramen w/o chashu, added egg. The bun and edemame and bun were standard but the ramen and agedashi tofu are definitely worth going back for. The tofu had slightest crisp on the outside, silky inside, and the broth was awesome. Everything about the ramen wasperfect. The noodles were just the right level of firmness, the egg the perfect balance of cooked whites/jammy yolk, and the broth just amazing with lots of different layers of spice and savor. The ramen alone is reason to...

Very delicious ! The fried gyoza was my favorite app. The karaagee chicken was ok. I feel like there was too much batter for me but if you like fried chicken it's pretty crunchy. The spicy miso ramen was very delicious it came with yellow ramen noodles. The Tom yum noodle soup was sweet and sour but more on the sour limey side. It came with pho noodles. The Tom yum soup got too much for me after a few bites due to how sour it was. It was good but not enough for me to enjoy afull bowl without my tongue coming off I order the chicken rice bowl to go and that was very delicious as well. Came with pickled carrots and veggies. I would come back and try the other ramens and soups! Book a table now

Discovered Soup Shack during covid and thoroughly enjoyed getting delivery. The experience was even better in better and the staff was very kind and accommodating. I was skeptical but they were able to seat a 10 person party after we called and asked. The karate was very crispy and juicy. The ramen is very flavorful but I wouldn’t hesitate to try anything else on the menu. Pictured are the Tom Yum Noodle Soup, the Tonkatsu Ramen, and the Roasted Duck Rice Bowl.

Tried Soup Shack in Brookline and if is a definite go-to if you like Pho, Ramen or Rice Bowls! My soup was delicious; added a little sauce and heat and it was yummy! The ramen dish got excellent reviews as did the rice bowl. Plenty of noodles , Woodear mushrooms, nori, sweet corn and and Menma! All in all , I will return again and I suggest you do as well ! By the way, prices are very reasonable , place is quaint but nice and clean .

I ordered Duck Noodle Soup to take out, the noodles and duck were delicious but I was disappointed that the broth was a box broth and was not made from scratch. I can't review about others soups, I ate only the Duck Noodle Soup, I don't know if I will eat another soup there, because I don't want to have a change to eat a box broth again!!!

Cute place with a good relaxed atmosphere. The portions are quite big. Overall, a solid place for lunch! I had the black sesame tonkatsu. It was quite unique with ground black sesame, but the flavor profile overall was quite normal. There was quite a lot of pork in these and they were really well cooked. Book a table now

Shoyu broth was incredible, light yet so flavorful. The pork melts in your mouth. Egg was perfectly soft boiled and absorbs the broth flavors so well. I added mushrooms to mine. Also good as takeout/delivery just heat the broth at home and pour into bowl. Consistently good.
