My niece told me about the place down from her job. She thought I would like it and I did. I smelled the soups as soon as I walked in the door ? ? very good aromas. The young lady at the counter was nice and professional. She was NOT on her phone phone as we see A LOT of young people today. I had the half soup (kale and black eyed pea soup -half sandwich(corned beef) combo for about $10. Both were good! And I was full leaving out. The place was clean so I dined in and yes I checked the restroom ? Had to grab a piece of the lemon pound cake on my way out. They said we hope you will come back?! I will ??Vegetarian options: Nice to have so many veggie options.Parking: Easy in Easy out!

It's in a highly populated area with a lot of businesses. It is a smaller establishment with asmaller staff. However, the staff is usually very courteous and efficient whenever I go. It's better than Zoup Panera Bread inmy opinion. I highly recommend, it is worth every dollar!

This cozy, little restaurant was just the place to satisfy my and my girlfriend's vegan cravings but our friends' carnivorous appetites. They've got steak chili, corn beef reubens, and more for the meat eaters and Vegan soups (the white bean soup is amust-try! <3) a killer bean burger, and wraps and more! The staff were especially friendly (I know I say it a lot about places,but these guys were actually talkative, funny, and helpful), obviously took pride in their restaurant, and kept a clean,welcoming atmosphere. I cannot wait to visit Southfield again so I have an excuse to visit SoupDive.

I just attempted to place a lunch order and discovered that they are now only accepting orders over the phone through an automated system. I spent 15 minutes trying to place my order, but it kept getting messed up. When I called the restaurant directly, they informed me that I could either come in, and they would prepare my order for me. Unfortunately, I don't have time to wait, as I only get a short lunch break during work. They've stopped taking orders over the phone altogether. I won’t be returning. On a positive note, they do offer vegan options.
I always come here. I love the food and love the owners. But this time I seem to have waited a little longer than I expected. The young Winona decided to talk on her personal phone and I get it when family calls and there’s a problem answer by all means. But please take it to the back or the bathroom, that way no one has an attitude or mad.
My wife and I experienced this restaurant for the first time. Salmon Chowder was great as well as the Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Wife had the Seafood Chowder and the Shrimp Flatbread which were delicious. Service was very good and we will bereturning. Glad to support a great African American owned business.
My husband and I loved the place. So many verity of soups and you can take sample of soup before ordering which is great. Yummy sandwiches too.

Best black eyed peas ever. Comes with brown rice and cornbread. So so good! I?m so glad that I discovered this unassuming place.
The food looks fresh. This place seems to do it right. I had the salad. Very fresh. The owner is a lovely lady.
