An older relative said to eat here after we heard we had a hotel nearby. I'm glad we came to breakfast. We were warmly welcomed by the family/owners (occupied) and a beautiful case of pastries. Our server was Edwin-professional friendly personal service. I had eggs Benedict, this is my way to travel (or biscuit/gray). I had either in almost every state. My balls Benedict were near the best I had. Maddie had the turkey omelette. You fill your dish with home potatoes that fulfill a lumberjack. A very diverse amount. We have been here numerous times over the past two years. Amazing service every time. Staff is professional and friendly. The food, from breakfast to soup to fish, is always superb. Highly recommend for breakfast lunch or dinner. Only complaint would be that they had great chicken wings that they recently changed to breaded wings that are not nearly as good.
Stop for lunch and remember how good this diner is. It's a bit far for me, but I wish it was in my hood. Had a reub that was tasty and my fiancé had a Patty Melt that was also excellent. The waiter was so nice and on his game that it was a fast bite exceptional.
It's been a number of years since I've last been to Long Island, so we had to get to as many diners as possible during our visit. Met up with some dear friends from college to enjoy some fantastic food, especially the gravy cheese fries (aka disco fries).

Got the honey chicken sandwich with bread and butter pickles that came with fries, coleslaw and a pickle to go and it was delicious! Would come back.
