In the 1980s, I used to live in Hazlemere and this chip shop was a regular spot for my family. It wasn't our first choice because we always found the chips to be too thick. We would visit occasionally, but not frequently. Like many others, we didn't choose this chip shop as our favorite in the Best Chip Shop competition. It's a shame, because if we had, things might have been different. After over forty years, the place in Holmer Green hasn't changed at all, still serving thick chips and greasy batter. Having been a very satisfied fish and chip customer for a long time, I was aware that during the last months south hill had begun to include a Chinese takeaway service. Yesterday my wife and I decided to try and. it was excellent. we really enjoyed it and also my order was ready at the arrival. all orders were great, but especially recommend the lemon chicken and the house special chow mine. this is a really excellent family business and is worth a try!
Quality Fish Chips, service with a smile . Generous potions LARGE to be honest. Will try their Chines menu tonight, looking forward to the same quality, will keep you in the loop. Good Value.
The food at this restaurant was delicious and very affordable. The portion sizes at all the chips shops were quite large, but we appreciated getting our money's worth.
