We went to Southern Comfort for the first time tonight. I wanted pork ribs but they were out. Our waitress suggested beef ribs. When the food came out there were 4 small ribs, burnt and all fat. I wasn't able to eat them. When our bill came the ribs were $32. I was extremely shocked at the price. $32 is a bit pricy. The wait staff was great. The atmosphere was nice. The others in the group enjoyed their food especially the mac&cheese. Their only complaint was that the soda was $3.50 and no free refills. Our bill was over 100. This is a local restaurant in WB. The food isn't bad but the work environment is. I worked here for about 30 hours and they never mentioned my pay until after i worked the 30 hours. Then proceeded to try and pay me below minimum wage under the table as a line cook. Never received anything in pay so i didn't come back. Called about getting my pay sent to me but the manager ignored me. it's a family owned place so if you're not family don't try working here unless you want to get screwed out of money. Still have yet to receive a pay from them 3 months later. Don't work here!!
While visiting our Student at Bridgewater State we decided to try this BBQ Restaurant a short drive up the road. We Loved It! A little bit of a wait, but we enjoyed drinks, some great music, and Chicken Sliders while we waited. Then came the BBQ Chicken, Tips, Adult Mac and Cheese, and baked beans. Authentic Southern BBQ For the Win! The waitress was quick with drinks and the owner came over to check on us. You can't get anything like this in Boston. Definitely coming back again!
My husband and I needed a private space for a client event, and Southern Comfort And Grill offered a perfect room for us. We appreciate supporting family-owned businesses, and it was clear that the family members were working hard to serve us delicious food. Thank you to the owner for going above and beyond to support our event. The wings from their menu were incredibly crunchy and flavorful, and the shrimp taco we ordered for catering was excellent as well.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Everything we tried was outstanding—truly some of the best I've ever had. The ribs were possibly the best I've ever tasted, and the steak tips had incredible flavor like nothing I've experienced before. I wanted dessert so badly, but I simply couldn't fit it in. The portions are generous for the price as well. This spot has easily moved to the top of my favorite places!
Best soul food ever. Our 1st time dining here. We had macaroni cheese, ribs, catfish, collard greens. Everything was absolutely delicious! The waitress that served us was very pleasant. She did an outstanding job. We had the fortunate opportunity to meet the parents of this establishment. That was the icing on the cake!I would recommend you experience it for yourself.
The food here is absolutely incredible! If you want authentic southern cuisine, this is the spot to be. You have to try the ribs, wing dings, mac and cheese, greens, and cornbread—each dish is fantastic! Don’t miss Taco Tuesday either, with $1 and $2 street tacos that are a real treat.
The food was disappointing, and the service left much to be desired. They may want to think about bringing in new waitstaff, as one of the two servers was quite unprofessional. Dealing with her attitude was really frustrating. Overall, the experience was below expectations.

Don't waste your time. If you want to eat without having to wait two hours for your food, don't go to Southern Comfort. The staff is also extremely rude. It's not worth it. You'll leave upset and disappointed.
Service is always excellent here, I'm in love with the biscuits with the sweet drizzle and the fried chicken is cooked perfectly
