Unlike a previous reviewer, I found the staff here to be pleasant and obliging. It's a bright, colourful place and the standard of service is appropriate. Nothing false or gushy, just good awareness and customer attentiveness. I had the $30 buffet dinner which was excellent in terms of both quality and value. Warning: The buffet is substantial (salads, pasta, roast meats, Asian stir-fry and etc) and if you want to sample everything, you may need to release your belt an extra notch. For those not wishing to 'over-eat' they do have a limited but adequate a la carte menu. There is also a light meal option available from the cafe. All in all, a good experience.
Couldn't bring ourselves to pay nearly $75 for a buffet at the Star, so looked at alternatives. Found a great restaurant in the Sharks club with Frenzy's! Such a huge buffet that we couldn't get through all the mains, though we tried. Selections included Indian, Thai and Roasts as well as a huge selection of starters and desserts. All for only $36.50!! Excellent location, quality food and great service. We didn't wait long enough, but there's entertainment on over week-ends and a Blue band was just setting up as we left! Adbvisable to book in advance, though massive seating area. Must be very popluar!
The restaurant is well below its competitors for both service and food(Very average and the setting is a long way from fine dining ).But for me the fish tanks at the entrance are a indication of an intuition that is backward in all respects, keeping any animal in such inadequate and cruel conditions is simply not acceptable. ......Lift your game Southport Sharks..this is not ok.
We had a nice table reserved and clean. Service you couldn't ask for them to do anymore for you.but my meal it was not great i had the parmigiana it was just warm and the chips well they couldn't be any colder very disappointing would be hard to go back and have another meal there

How fantastic to see the Sharks club back to this standard, My husband and I went for breakfast this morning. It was fabulous, frresh, hot, huge variety, well done to serve a beautiful buffet breakfast to this standard, will be recommending to EVERYONE. Thankyou
Went for dinner Friday Night with the family. Pleasantly suprised how much was on offer for the money. Kids loved the desserts and there was plenty of them. I liked the little baskets of seafood and the Lemon Cannoli's . Will certainly be back. Keep it up.
This is the best restaurant at Sharks and is reliable for excellent cuisine. It is their most expensive service but worth the extra money. It's as good any other restaurant at producing a consistent quality menu.
Fantastic buffet offering a huge variety to please anyone. Extremely happy with the choices and they had kids nuggets and chips on the buffet as well.

Good food & I find the environment layed back & relaxing too. Music is great & Staff seem friendly too
