My husband and I were so excited to try out Southwest Cafe before watching a nearby show. Upon our arrival I was feeling unwell and unable to eat.. my husband thorough enjoyed his meal and I was able enjoy mine after returning home that night. I’m writing this review to not just rave about the food and adorable ambience but to also applaud and acknowledge the very kind hostess and waitress who took good care of me. Bringing me soda and asking how I was doing. The kindness and care was so appreciated. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the delicious menu at this very special gem in Ridgefield!
Had a great dinner with friends. Food was fresh and good, service was attentive and quick. Had a salad with grilled shrimp and it was outstanding. Drinks were delish. Our first time and we'll be back.
My favorite dish is the chili jalapeño Margherita, which I highly recommend. As for parking, it can get quite busy due to nearby businesses, but it's definitely worth taking a walk to get there.
They were especially kind to me last night, when I had not had enough water and was dizzy. They got me water very quickly. So, we got great food and compassion at the same time.
