The food was not very good at all. I went with a hot food selection and got the swedish meatballs with noodles. To start, the food was cold. It also was not really close to swedish meatballs, seems like they just made italian meatballs and put the swedish meatball sauce on top. Also, the meatballs were extremely dry and tasteless.Also went to grab a bottled drink and found that a lot of the different bottles in there have been expired for months.It seems this place takes no pride at all in their food and other items they sell to customers. I would not go back here again.
There's nothing like a NY Deli Sandwich, Staff is pleasant and the ambiance is great, first time there and hope it would not be our last, I asked the deli clerk to hookup my ham Swiss hero, he said I got you with a smile, and boy did he, thank you. I'm recommending 10 Stars. Too all Truckers if you are ever in the area please don't hesitate to drop in and get some good comfort food.
I don’t normally leave a review..but I think it’s the right thing to do in this case. I will never again subject myself to that experience! I ordered a turkey sandwich..dry, with lettuce..not challenging to a 6 year old. I received a skimp, poorly trimmed, cartilage packed, nausea inducing lunch. Most of it ended up being spit out in the bag it came in.
Southwind Deli is undoubtedly the best in the area. The quality of the food and the customer service is always consistent and outstanding. If you look at the other reviews, aside from two isolated ones, you'll see that this deli consistently receives five-star ratings. That speaks volumes.

Easy order off the menu. They asked 3 times if I want lettuce and tomatoes. I said no just like the sign said tuna salad and bacon, no lettuce and tomato. . Ended up with no bacon but they put lettuce and tomato. Not sure what was wrong in this place. Had to drive back.
The best deli in this neighborhood...BY FAR. I work in the area, and have tried them all; so I know. Here at South Wind? The staff is polite, professional, and efficient. Excellent customer service. More important still? The food is fresh, and very well prepared.

They prepared my burger exactly how I like it—medium rare. I will definitely be returning!
