Spanish Sangria a solid Newark restaurant. Being an out of town traveler, finding a decent restaurant in Newark can be a challenge; the pickings are pretty slim. After eating at Spanish Sangria, I can finally say, 'I found a decent restaurant in Newark. ' The interior was clean and modern. The bar was filled with what appeared to be a jovial group of locals with everyone speaking Spanish. Or was it Portugese? I don 't know don 't speak either one. <br/ <br/ The meal starts with the obligatory bread, which tasted freshly baked.
