I used to love going to Speedboat for their karaoke nights, but after tonight I won’t be coming back. I met my sisters and friends at this bar at 9:30 pm. By 11pm we had ordered a bucket of beers, several appetizer plates, plus more beers and cocktails. Then a member of our party was told after singing that we weren’t going to be allowed to sing anymore because the owner (Dawn) was upset that our table wasn’t ordering food/drink. Apparently she didn’t like the fact that a bottle water was brought in, so instead of addressing it and asking for the water bottle to be removed, she told the karaoke DJ to not let us sing. I will not be coming back to this place after hearing how awful my friends were treated last night. My friends are amazing, kind people. They tip well and always order food drinks, but because one member of the group had brought in an outside container of water, the owner got mad, Instead of addressing the issue firsthand, the owner decided to be petty, cut the group off from karaoke hoped that they would leave because she wasn’t making a profit off their table (her own words). Awful, awful, management customer service “skills” Just some advice, kindness goes a long way.
Dawn is the owner and she is amazing! My husband and I got take out yesterday and it was fantastic! So we came back today for some food and drinks! Perfect little hangout spot for the weekend or just for a night cap after work! I highly recommend this bar!
Been here a couple times love the food love the service looking for a small town cozy bar this is it everyone at this establishment is great very nice people I don't karaoke but love watching everyone else

What a fantastic local bar and restaurant! Our meals are always served hot and delicious. We feel very lucky to have such a great place within walking distance. I highly recommend the SpeedBoat Burger!
This place is a hidden gem for an excellent patty melt. It was truly exceptional. I will definitely be back!
