UPDATE after three years ...I am not local, and cannot compare to other restaurants in Reigate, but when visiting a friend, I have looked forward to a good meal at Spice Guru. I am pleased to say that the lamb has returned to previous high standards, and so I am re-adding a star. In my opinion, the food is very good. The restaurant is quite small and not brightly lit, generally providing a nice atmosphere. It is accessed by a small doorway from the street, directly leading to fairly steep stairs. The staff have always been friendly. The toilets are at the top of the stairs (accessed via a door from the restaurant . had a lamb madras and the sauce was hot and tasty and the lamb was decent. I had this court out of a lot of different Indians and this is high in this list. they can also deliver these massive cobra bottles, and they come cold so that everything in this place is a win in my eyes.
Love this place! Fantastic with dietary requirements!!!!!! Eat in or take away! I love lime and therefore LOVE their dish Chicken Satkora Nashilee Chicken cooked with citrus fruit, with ginger herbs and spices!
in Saturday evening with 4 friends, we had not booked, but they managed to accommodate us what was good, as the restaurant was very busy. the food was nice and tasty and after a few beer the place.
