there for dinner on Valentine's Day we had no reservation and the restaurant did not accept a walk this day. but we have a bar table, so it's okay. the fried tintenfisch was good. I really liked the steamed aubergine with 3 aromes. the spicy chicken wings were good. a little salty and not spicy at all. then we had our Nanjing-style ****. first it is not nanjing style, not even close. second, it is extremely salty and sour. I couldn't swallow it. So we asked the kitchen to take it back, and the cook agreed. they took the court out of our bill. the belt noodles were also very salty and we did not finish it. overall, eating was ok, depending on what they order anyway. I love the mood of this place that has not changed since its opening in December 08 at all, and that is perhaps the problem that it has not changed. it is very good, but like all old couples, all dishes begin to look the same. the Szechuan pfeffer zing is wonderful, but if it is in all 4 netzen, it quickly loses its newness. and the repeated chili embellishment is similar to desensitising. the garnels in duenei have more wobbles than a gyros, sadly few garnel. the pancake is now slices of lamb wedged between delicious baked. past are the delicate pockets and delicious lamb mint. cocktails are wonderful, but the twelve animal circles are now CoVid...read more

spice temple presented by neil perry and andy evans has a loyal success both in sydney and in melbourne. with its focus on food from less well-known regions in China and immersing in an intimate culinary experience, the restaurant has been awarded with several awards such as one by good food guide australia.
