Dining in a rotating restaurant with stunning views of the city of Houston provides a memorable and unique experience. When you add attentive service and delicious meals to the mix, it creates an unforgettable moment. Spindletop delivered on all fronts. The wine selection was impressive, and our server made a fantastic recommendation based on our preferences. My lamb dish was beautifully presented, tender, and delectable. My dining companion also enjoyed her surf and turf dinner. There were no complaints about our visit. I would easily give this restaurant a five-star rating for an incredible culinary experience.
This restaurant is one of the best places in Houston for special occasions such as anniversaries. It is the only revolving restaurant in Houston and offers amazing views along with delicious dishes. It has a very elegant atmosphere, but it can be a bit pricey. However, the quality of the food and service make it worth it. The portions may be small, but the taste is exceptional. We highly recommend trying dishes like grilled Pacific tiger shrimp, southwest jumbo lump crab cakes, roasted red snapper, and ancho-glazed grilled chicken breast. Overall, it is the perfect place to spend quality time together.
The food, drinks, and service were impeccable (except for hostess who seemed to be unhappy with her job) would’ve received 5 stars if they were more accommodating with the seating. We made a reservation in advanced didn’t know you had to specify in order to sit by the window and enjoy the view. The hostess told us that the seating would be full so we were not allowed to sit there. Unfortunately that was not the case at all, place was so empty I felt that I had to whisper as to not be too loud. If they would’ve sat us by the view we would’ve stayed double the time and spent double the money.
Sadly disappointing. Food was unimpressive salmon was dry and overcooked. Server very sweet but clearly covering numerous tables so unable to be as attentive. Fairly certain I got the wrong wine it was replaced. Sat on upper level, no real access to the view from there and the table circles right next to the hostess station. Exited quickly when a very loud party of 20 showed up at the entrance. Some guy talking on his phone was literally pacing back and forth within inches from my table.

Overall the food was good. The menu was very limited though. Love the atmosphere and views. Was really disappointed in our server. She was nice enough but not attentive at all. Got my drink order, a bottle of Perrier when our appetizers came. I expect a bit better than that for the prices they are charging. After dinner she simply asked if we wanted any desserts...I had to ask if they had a dessert menu. Overall, a very average dining experience unfortunately.
service and atmosphere are already worth it. three hours with wine, appetizer and main course. eating was great and fresh. some were a bit amazed, but they can't satisfy everyone each time. I would recommend going for someone in a serious relationship and wanting to clean up and go somewhere nice. it's a bit expensive, so be ready to spend a few hundred when they entertain and enjoy a few bottles of wine.
We arrived a few minutes early, ahead of our reservation. We were seated very soon thereafter and placed dink orders which we delivered promptly. Our server, Tracy, was very attentive and delivered quality service. The manager stopped by to inquire about our experience. The food was delicious and the views were spectacular as the sun set and evening covered the city.
Love the atmosphere at the Spindletop restaurant. The restaurant is upscale and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The views of the city at night, with all the lights and movement of traffic, is beautiful. The food was wonderful, although I wouldn't rate it 5 stars. Limited menu, also makes it difficult for individuals with dietary restrictions.

my man and I celebrated our 13th annual day in the Spindletop food, atmosphere and 360° is amazing. the appetizer mac n cheese is a must try. you will not be disappointed! herbal rack from lamb, golf shrimp spicy lobster ravioli and rustic peach tart
