Went to Spinnakers a few years ago and it was a wonderful experience. Sad to say that it has changed from that time. Grief Grief Ordered a milkshake that has been released in an ordinary water glass. It tasted delicious, but there was certainly not enough for $ 7.50. Ten minutes later, I saw a lady who received the same milkshake, but in a milkshake glass! As the waitress asked that they were in the dirty dishes when I ordered. I was asked if I wanted another one, but we had done our meals and we are ready to go to this point. Had a catch up with friends this morning for Breakfast what an experiance ! even Faulty Towers is better organised we were early and waiting for friends to arrive after sitting there for some time and getting no service I asked a waitress who was clearing the next table if I could order some coffee only to be asked okay what do you want then when the coffee and it was only the standard Flat white well they need to employ another Barista (Disgusting ) when our friends did arrive again had to call someone to get service after waiting and they ordered tea only to be told you cannot order tea for 2 but can have 2 seperate pots of tea for 1 when that finally arrived it was disco...
Absolutely disgusted, this morning went there for a beautiful Sunday breakfast. Went in and it was busy, but not full was asked what coffee we liked and ordered. Began to notice other tables around us who had been waiting for their food for a while. After a 50-minute we wait, as if we were called one of the waitresses, since nobody had disturbed to come to check if we were alright, or if we want more coffee now! I could not believe that it was asked why we were not even said that there was a delay, and all she could offer us was a "free coffee". My experiences at this venue for breakfast have not been good the food is average and looks like an uninterested cook or unqualified person is preparing it . Sausages cooked in the deep fryer,bacon over cooked and only the eye of the bacon served dry, coffee average. For a sea resort in a first class place I expected so much more. The restaurant furniture is so cheap and evil, December is terrible and the ambience, that's none of it! A lady that I mind is the owner who showed us reluctantly in a table, and everything seemed as if it was too much trouble. The food was very clear on the way and grub for the foundation and quality. Also the restaurant was dirty, without air cash and toilets were shameful. Honestly, do not waste your time or money that comes here, it's horrible. The staff are not very inviting, wrong drink. $ 30 paid for a piece of barramundi and the set of fennel was roughly. Had could use a salad or mash / chip option instead of the fennel, not even lemon on the side :( Meals lasted long time and the staff did not even check the Group. It is so overpriced! How do you burn crumbed chicken , terrible choice. 4 small pieces of chicken sticks, 3 small mango slices and 3 bits of advocate, on limp rocket, with not enough dressing. Yuk Such a nice spot too. Should have read these reviews before I went.
